Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Microneedling.

Microneedling improves texture through controlled micro-injuries that stimulate collagen and elastin. Results develop gradually as new cells form; most clients notice smoother, firmer skin within weeks, with continued improvement for months after treatment.

Most clients report mild discomfort; topical numbing is applied to minimize pain. Sessions are quick and tolerable, with sensations like pressure or mild stinging. Speak with our Medspa team about pain control options during your consultation.

Recommended sessions vary by concern; typically a series of three to six treatments spaced four to six weeks apart yields best results. Your Medspa consultation will create a customized plan based on skin type and treatment goals.

Temporary redness, swelling, and sensitivity are common and usually subside within a few days. Rare complications include infection or pigment changes; following aftercare and seeking Medspa clearance reduces risks significantly.

You must complete a Medspa consultation and annual medical clearance before Microneedling. People with certain skin conditions, active infections, recent isotretinoin use, or autoimmune issues may be advised against treatment.

Aftercare includes gentle cleansing, avoiding makeup for 24 hours, and daily sunscreen. Avoid retinoids, exfoliants, and direct sun exposure until fully healed. Follow homecare instructions and contact our Medspa for concerns.
