Get answers to common questions about Chin.
No. Waxing removes hair from the root and does not change its color or thickness. Over time hair often grows back finer and sparser with regular waxing, rather than thicker or darker.
Results vary, but most clients enjoy smooth, hair-free skin for three to six weeks. Individual growth cycles and hormones affect timing, so regular appointments help maintain consistent results.
Some discomfort is normal but brief. Our therapist uses quick, precise techniques and calming products to minimize pain. Expect a few minutes of treatment and immediate smoothness afterward.
For best results hair should be about one-quarter inch to one-half inch long (roughly 7–12 mm). This length allows the wax to grip hair effectively for complete removal.
Mild redness or sensitivity can occur, usually subsiding within hours. To reduce irritation and ingrowns, avoid heavy creams, exfoliate gently after 48 hours, and use recommended soothing products.
Clients with certain skin conditions, recent oral isotretinoin use, open wounds, or heavy sunburn should delay waxing. Pregnant clients and those on specific medications should consult our therapist before booking.
